Our platform
A free, advertising-funded casual game platform that runs in a web browser. No installer, no account, no purchases, and a library the company assembles itself.
The platform in plain terms
A player opens the platform in a browser, starts a casual game, plays for a few minutes, and closes the tab. That is the entire product. There is no library to install, no launcher, no profile to maintain and nothing that carries over between sessions except the preferences the browser itself remembers. The games are short by design — puzzle, arcade, skill, word and two-player titles of the kind that suit a break rather than an evening.
How it works
Three steps, and none of them involve giving us anything.
-
Open it in a browser
The platform is a web page. It opens on a desktop, a laptop, a tablet or a phone in whatever browser is already installed. There is no download step and no permission prompt.
-
A session starts immediately
There is no sign-in wall, no email gate and no “tell us about yourself” step, because there are no accounts to sign in to. A game is chosen and it starts.
-
Nothing is stored beyond preferences
Where a game remembers a setting or a score, the browser holds it on the player’s own device. It is not transmitted to us, we cannot read it, and clearing browser data removes it.
Technical scope
What the platform runs on, and what it deliberately does not need.
| Runs on | Current desktop and mobile web browsers. |
|---|---|
| Installation | None. No installer, no plugin, no browser extension, no app-store download. |
| Account | Not required, and not available. The platform has no accounts, no profiles and no sign-in. |
| Cost to the player | None. The platform is free at the point of use. |
| Purchases | None. No in-game currency, no loot boxes, no cosmetics, no subscriptions. |
| Player-to-player features | None. No chat, comments, messaging, friends lists or leaderboards that carry a name. |
| Stored on the device | Preferences and, where a game keeps one, a local score. Held by the browser, on the device, not by us. |
| Minimum age | 13. See Safety & suitability. |
Library and curation
The library is licensed, not crowdsourced. We approach developers and rights holders, agree terms for the titles we want, and take them on under licence. There is no submission queue open to the public and there is no mechanism for a member of the public to publish a game onto the platform.
Every title is assessed against the five criteria published on the home page before it is licensed: it has to load fast on modest hardware, be playable without instruction, carry no gambling or simulated-wagering mechanics, contain no user-to-user chat, and suit a general audience of 13 and over. The library is reviewed against the same criteria afterwards, and a title that no longer meets them is retired.
The genres we work within are puzzle, arcade, skill, word and two-player. That is a statement of scope, not a catalogue. We do not publish a game count, a “most played” ranking or a new-this-week list on this site, because those are product surfaces and this is the company’s site.
What curation means here
- Sourced under licence from the developer or rights holder.
- Reviewed against written criteria before it goes on.
- Re-reviewed while it is on the platform.
- Retired when it no longer meets the criteria, or when the licence ends.
- No public uploads, ever — the intake is the whole control.
How the platform is funded
Advertising. The platform is free to the player and paid for by advertising shown around the games, and we would rather say that plainly than describe ourselves as “free” and leave the question hanging.
What that does not mean: there is no paid tier, no subscription, no advertisement-removal purchase, no in-game currency and nothing purchasable inside a game. There is no free trial that becomes a paid plan, because there is nothing to buy. If a paid element is ever introduced, it will arrive with clear notice and an active payment step, and the Australian Consumer Law position will be published before any payment is taken.
The advertising standards we hold to, and what advertising is not allowed to do on a platform with a 13-and-over audience, are set out under Safety & suitability.
Safety and suitability
The minimum age, what the platform deliberately does not do, the advertising standards and the route for raising a concern.
